Quality standards
How we choose, check and trace every lot.
Updated

In short: We do not own farms. We buy from independent American farms and apiaries that hold organic certification, keep each harvest as its own lot, check it before it reaches you, and print a lot code that traces it back to where and when it was grown.
How we choose farms and apiaries
- Grown in the U.S. Every farm and apiary we buy from is in the United States. We name the state on every pack.
- Certified organic. Each supplier holds organic certification from a USDA-accredited certifier, and we keep a current copy of the certificate on file. [CONFIRM: certifier names for your suppliers.]
- One harvest at a time. We buy whole harvests and keep them separate, so a lot never mixes two farms or two seasons.
- Visited and known. [CONFIRM: how often you visit or audit suppliers, e.g. once a year before the first purchase.]
What we check on every lot
Before a lot is packed or delivered, we check its paperwork and the product itself.
| Product | What we check |
|---|---|
| Raw honey | Organic certificate and harvest record; moisture; [CONFIRM: lab tests, e.g. authenticity (added sugar) and residue testing by LAB NAME] |
| Bee pollen, propolis, comb | Organic certificate and harvest record; [CONFIRM: tests you run] |
| Dates and dried fruit | Organic certificate, harvest year and moisture; [CONFIRM: tests you run] |
| Nuts | Organic certificate and crop year; [CONFIRM: e.g. aflatoxin testing by LAB NAME] |
Business customers can ask for the organic certificate and test results for any lot they buy. [CONFIRM which documents you share.]
Certifications
Grocers, food makers and distributors often need these before they can buy. Copies are available to business customers.
| Certification | What it shows | Status |
|---|---|---|
| USDA Organic | Grown and handled to the National Organic Program standard | [CONFIRM: certifier] |
| Kosher | Supervised by a kosher certification agency | [CONFIRM: agency, or remove] |
| Halal | Certified by a halal certification body | [CONFIRM: body, or remove] |
| True Source Honey | Honey is ethically and legally sourced and traceable | [CONFIRM, or remove] |
| Food safety audit | SQF or another GFSI-recognized audit of the facility | [CONFIRM: scheme and level, or remove] |
How we store and deliver
- Products are stored at [CONFIRM: facility, e.g. our FDA-registered warehouse in CITY, STATE], away from heat and direct light.
- Honey is never heated to make it pour faster. Crystallized honey is sold as it is, with instructions for gently warming it at home.
- Nuts, dates and dried fruit are kept cool and sealed to protect freshness. [CONFIRM: storage temperature.]
- We deliver to every city in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and ship nationwide.
Tracing your lot
Every pack carries a lot code that starts with MH-. Enter it on the lot-code lookup to see the farm or apiary, region and harvest date. The same code lets us find every pack from that lot within minutes if we ever need to.
If something is wrong
If a product does not look, smell or taste right, keep the pack and contact us with the lot code. We reply within [RESPONSE TIME] and replace or refund it. Natural crystallization in honey is not a fault.
Questions about quality
Is Miracle Honey ever blended with imported honey?
No. Every product is grown or harvested in the United States, and each lot comes from a single farm or apiary harvest. We do not blend lots or add imported product.
Is your honey heated or filtered?
Our honey is raw: it is strained to remove wax and comb but not heated or pressure-filtered, so it keeps its pollen and will crystallize naturally over time.
Does Miracle Honey own the farms?
No. We are a sourcing and distribution company. We choose independent American farms and apiaries, buy their harvests, check every lot, and deliver to homes and businesses.
How can I see where my food came from?
Enter the lot code printed on the lid or back of the pack on our lot-code lookup. It shows the farm or apiary, region and harvest date.
