Tasting notes
Soft, moist and caramel-sweet, with a thin skin and a rich, fudge-like center. Jumbo dates are the largest and meatiest.

Breaking the fast at iftar, stuffed with almonds or walnuts, blended into smoothies, or chopped into baking.
Storage
Keep the box sealed in a cool, dry place. Once opened, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to six months, or freeze for longer.

Where do Al-Haj Medjool dates come from?
From one Palestinian family's own date garden near Ramallah. Our owner, Muhammad Asif Siddiqui, has known and bought from this family for 16 years, and we source from them directly, not through a mixed wholesale lot.
What sizes and prices are available?
Jumbo: 1 kg $18, 2 kg $34, 5 kg $71. Large: 2 kg $32, 5 kg $69. Medium: 2 kg $30. A 1 kg box is about 2.2 lb, 2 kg about 4.4 lb and 5 kg about 11 lb.
What is the difference between Jumbo, Large and Medium?
The grade is the size of each date. Jumbo dates are the largest and meatiest, Large are a step smaller, and Medium are the best value per pound. All three are the same Medjool variety from the same garden.
Why do you only sell dates in sealed boxes?
For hygiene and freshness. A sealed box has not been handled or topped up since it was packed, so you know the dates are not mixed with older or lower-grade fruit. We recommend never buying dates from open trays.
